Teas, Handicaps, Wimbledon, Shoe tags

Thank you to all those who contributed cakes and to Helen for organising last Saturday's teas. It was great to see so many of you playing tennis and socialising in bright sunshine. Those teas have been and could remain a much loved and unique part of our great club, and indeed apart from  a great time being had by all, also contributed £60+ into the club funds. If you are willing to organise teas for any Saturday, please get in touch, preferably with a date that you would like to do.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR MEMBERS

May I first of all thank all those who took part in the recent poll on tournaments, the result of which supported the proposal to hold the handicap finals in July. This will give all our social players a chance to get involved with some fun tennis from the start of the season. My thanks to Mark for organising the poll and to the Tennis Sub Committee for their hard work on the proposal.

Wimbledon Ballot Opt-In & Half-Term Junior Tennis Camps

The Wimbledon Ballot Opt-In closes on 22 February 2019 and we only have 126 members Opted-In.

The number of Wimbledon Tickets allocated to the Club is dependent on the number of British Tennis members who have opted in by the closing date.  Last year we had 27 pairs of tickets, which was less than the previous year.  Even if you don’t want to go to Wimbledon please can I ask you to Opt-In to maximize the Club’s ticket allocation.
