Court maintenance this week

Although we obviously would have preferred to do the work out of season, some of the fences for courts 4 and 9 (the top tiger turf, and the highest hard court) are being replaced this week. These courts will be out of action this week for safety reasons. We will endeavour to get the work done as quickly as possible.

Teas this Saturday 11th and Handicap Draw

TEAS:

I'm very pleased to say that teas will again be available at the club this Saturday (11th May) at 4.30. This great and much loved tradition at our club is well worth preserving, and my thanks on behalf of the whole club go to those who volunteer to help keep it going. There are still a few Saturdays awaiting volunteers, so if you can help out, please sign up on the sheet on the club noticeboard, or speak to Lisa.

HANDICAP TOURNAMENT DRAW SHEETS:

New Coach, Wimbledon, Teas

Both I and Head Coach Phil Thomas are delighted to announce the recruitment of top player & top coach Emily Watson into the RTA coaching programme. Emily brings a dynamic approach to tennis coaching & will also complement the ladies 1st team this season. We wish her a very happy and fulfilling time at Radyr LTC.

Teas, Handicaps, Wimbledon, Shoe tags

Thank you to all those who contributed cakes and to Helen for organising last Saturday's teas. It was great to see so many of you playing tennis and socialising in bright sunshine. Those teas have been and could remain a much loved and unique part of our great club, and indeed apart from  a great time being had by all, also contributed £60+ into the club funds. If you are willing to organise teas for any Saturday, please get in touch, preferably with a date that you would like to do.
