Congratulations to our Ladies 1st Team

I'm very pleased to pass on the news that our Ladies 1st team have today won a crucial play-off enabling them to play premier league tennis next summer. Having already won Division 1, the Ladies won the play off in some style, beating Swansea 6-0, and in the process acheived back to back promotions, having only been promoted to division 1 last year. Many congratulations to Teresa, Zara, Caroline, Helen, Rachel, Dawn and Zoe who played in the vast majority of games, and also Liz, Lianne and Chloe who stepped up when required.

Charity minibus, Golf Day & Handicap Finals Night

Charity minibus for Botswana at the club this Saturday teatime. Please help fill it with items for children aged 5-11

Following a visit Chris & Angela Gray made to Botswana 18 months ago, they have been raising funds to buy a new mini-bus for a Primary school in the north of the country.

They have eventually reached their target and the bus has been purchased. It was collected from the East of England today by Jeff Williams and Graham Williams and brought to Radyr.

Updated Handicap Tournaments, Wimbledon Ballot and Used Tennis Balls

The updated Handicap Tournament spreadsheet showing the Plate Competitions is now on the website.

Just a reminder that we are still collecting used tennis balls. If you have any balls, which you don’t want anymore, please put them in the black bin in the porch.  Any money we make from these goes towards the running of the club.

We’re approaching that time of year again when we ask all British Tennis Members in Radyr LTC to Opt In to the Wimbledon Ballot.  This will open on 20 September 2017.
